4ds agoThe Crown Act’s fifth anniversary was celebrated outside of Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday.
Around 30 young Brooklyn residents came together alongside the WNBA’s New York Liberty and I Am H.A.I.R. Beauty to celebrate the act. It was passed in 2019 to protect people from race-based hair discrimination.
