So I'm sure it's going to heat up sooner rather than later. Exactly. And the humidity as well. So you're really going to want the water later on in the working. And then again on Friday and Saturday, it's going to feel like Florida out there. Very tropical area is going to be moving right into our borough. And I was mentioning that rain Fourth of July, it's all on the backs of our minds already. Even though today is Monday, we're already thinking about Thursday and especially the holiday weekend. So, yes, 25%. That's a one in four shot in Sunset Park. But this number has been growing slowly but surely even higher chance Friday and Saturday. So if you're thinking about holiday weekend plans, plan it for Sunday instead of Saturday because Saturday is going to be the wetter half of the holiday weekend. But again, enjoy the rest of the, this really nice stretch while you can tomorrow afternoon, middle eighties, lots of sunshine and dry into the overnight hours, rinse and repeat Wednesday morning commute looking just as nice as the morning commute tomorrow. Middle sixties, plenty of sunshine that will carry us into the afternoon, lower and middle eighties. Once again with lots of sunshine, humidity does start going up Wednesday night into early Thursday. Here comes the clouds and follow those clouds to some showers and storms that are going to be moving in and look at the time stamp 9 p.m. That's when the fireworks are supposed to be going off and Coney Island, the Macy's fireworks as well so that could impact those fireworks. Of course, we're going to still have time to fine tune this forecast over the next couple of days. We're also watching Hurricane Barrel made landfall near grenade. Unfortunately, as a potent category four storm, this is for loved ones in Haiti and the Dominican Republic southern coast, there is a tropical storm warning the effect but you're going to avoid the worst of it. Jamaica could get a direct impact from it and then eventually Mexico coastline. We're worried about a hurricane landfall there that day. Forecast time again. We're not worried about tropical systems here but we are worried about chances for thunderstorms, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

VOTE 2024: Yeger wins in the 41st Assembly District primary election

Issues for voters there in education and public safety. And that certainly was the case in another Brooklyn race that we were keeping a close eye on. That was the 41st assembly district primary. Uh city council member Calman Yeager will be making the transition come November to the assembly member candidate role. He has secured victory tonight with 71% of the vote in this democratic primary. And we have Rob Flax uh standing by at his campaign headquarters tonight with more on his reaction to the win. A victorious Calman Yeager here in Brooklyn's 31st assembly district. He has taken a sizable lead and was declared the victor over Adam Dweck here in his district. He says it's because of the door knocking because of the efforts of his grassroots campaign. But also because of the six years that voters have gotten a chance to know his record. He tells us that's what he believes made. The difference. Was it about an experience matters, campaign experience counts. And I was talking to my neighbors about what I've done in the city council for the last 6.5 years as a community board for 18 years and a lifelong resident of this neighborhood. I grew up here. Uh, I've lived here all my life. I've only lived in two zip codes my entire life. I don't get out much and this has been my home now as Yeager heads into the general, he tells us he's going to be keeping focus on the core issues that got him a victory tonight. That is public safety, combating anti Semitism and common sense reforms to bail reform in Brooklyn Rob Flax News 12. All right.
